What is Epi-LASIK?
Epi-Lasik is a modern version of PRK. Instead of surface cells (epithelium) being brushed away, a special device removes the epithelium in a smooth sheet. This leads to quicker healing and less discomfort than traditional PRK, allowing more often for both eyes being treated the same day. |
